He had a full brother VERTUMNUS (b c 1775 ECLIPSE) but perhaps more key is a half sister to his dam by ECLIPSE: VENUS (ch f 1773) who was dam of Oaks Stakes winner: TAG (b f 1786 TRENTHAM) who in turn was dam of; LAZY (b f 1800 DRIVER){the mix must have worked} as she foaled: ANDERIDA (b f 1805 GOHANNA)[a winner of the Gold Cup 4023m=20f at Ascot].
