The answer is on YouTube. I love this video tribute to Sham. It contains footage from the tv broadcast, including Sham being walked with no blinkers. He does not have a star.

Thanks Springboro. Sounds like something happened to him after the name was submitted and they never paid the fee. Too bad, he was a nice looking yearling.

Anybody know what happened to Weekend Storm's last foal (2009)? He sold for $330K at the 2010 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale to IEAH, but has yet to be named, according to Equibase.

I also love her. I really did not think she was going to get there. Amazing turn of foot. Someone thought she ran the final eighth in :10 3/5! She was reportedly very proud of herself after the race. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/handicapping?source=http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/editorial/...

She is at Del Mar in "light" training. Supposedly won't make her first start until the fall. Equibase does show a couple of timed works at Hollywood, maybe she had a little set back.

At least he has no other inbreeding in five generations. Storm Cat will get all the blame (or credit) for this one.
