Re: What will happen to American Pharoah
That would truly be unfortunate. Surly there is an american farm that would want, and be able to purchase him to keep him in the US. I wonder if the Trustee with have any previous racing industry knowledge or if its gonna be a comedy/tragedy of errors. None horse people really don't understand how m...

What will happen to American Pharoah
Will the contract with the breeding farm standing him keep him there and continuing as usual? A bank owning one of the greatest horses of this decade seems like all sorts of bad to me. https://www.kentucky.com/sports/horses/article239534108.html?fbclid=IwAR0aRyjMgs8rZoEKNOEZ-IMnam1g-d8fJgrtbL1jyUdMQ...

Re: Who's got runners?
Fenix got his gate card last week. Weather is still screwing with his breezing schedule though so it'll be several weeks yet till he's ready to find a race. On a bright note he will (baring issues) get to start at Turfway on synthetic which he seems to have a serious preference to over dirt.

Re: Who's got runners?
I'm sure that's very disappointing but I'm glad you're doing right by him. Best of luck to him in his new home and you all in your future ventures.

Re: Who's got runners?
My boy Fenix finally had his first timed work. He wasn't being pushed as it's his first time breezing a 3/8ths but at least it's a step forward.

Congrats Zia! It must be so rewarding to take a chance and be rewarded with a horse with so much try.

Re: Miss Pinkerton
Pardon my ignorance but if you can enter "no whip" and she can't be hit, why wouldn't you go ahead and do that to keep the jock from taking a swing out of habit? Is there some downside or penalty for running without one? Quite curious, I didn't even know "no whip" was an option.

Re: Papers No Papers a Time of Upheaval
As far as I'm aware that's all that's needed. Seems like it's going to cause all sorts of drama, accidental like yours and possibly random people thinking it's fun to cause caos and change all sorts of ownership around. Sort of like people getting on this page and gelding well known studs and creati...

Re: Equineline discrepancies
Thanks Pan Zareta, makes way more sense now. I looked on equibase and it has her listed as unraced, I forgot it only shows North American info. Wish there was a site that was all inclusive for all the countries.

Re: Equineline discrepancies
I'm not talking about this site. I am well aware this site has all sorts of issues. I only use it as a side tool for extra info that isn't readily available on equibase or equineline. I'm talking about an issue on equineline. It shows there are two foals by birdstone out of forty niner mares it says...

Re: Equineline discrepancies
O for sure. I double checked the info on equibase. The two progeny that show up on this site are real, but one was just a claimer and the other didn't race, so either there is another foal that somehow got blacktype but no earnings or the info is just wrong. I guess either way it's wrong because it ...

Equineline discrepancies
I didn't realize the info on equineline could be wrong. I was looking at a hypo mating and this showed up. Thought it looked off so I looked it up. Nicking Stats for mares by Forty Niner when bred to Birdstone mares - 2 foals - 2 starters (%) - 2 winners (%) - 2 BW (%) - 1 earnings (%) - $27,487 ael...

Re: Papers No Papers a Time of Upheaval
I'm curious how the change in ownership is gonna work, being paperless. Last I checked (which admittedly has been several years) all you had to do to register the change of ownership with the JC was go on their website and type in your name and the previous owners name and mark it changed. Seems rip...
