Elaine Ferri needs your help and support. She was kicked in the face by a filly. She lost her left eye, and faces still more surgeries to repair her face. This kind of medical surgery is not cheap. She had 100 facial fractures, plus her nose has to be rebuilt, as well as the area around her eye. Her...

R.I.P. > Half Out East, mare, 1991-2007

HALF OUT EAST (Ky) was mercifully put down, to end her suffering on Sunday, July 15th. A 1991 model by Far Out East x Bob's Dusty, she was a decent runner on the track, mostly Maryland region. She won 18 times, and made $135k. She didn't produce anything of merit as a broodie, but I had high hopes ...

JIMIE SON: Anyone know where he is now?

JIMIE SON raced last at Mountaineer Park that I could find.

Does anyone know what became of him?

Did he go to stud, or is he still racing?

HOLY BULL, ran 12th in a field of fourteen, as the favorite in the 1994 Kentucky Derby. GIACOMO, winner of the latest KD, was by HOLY BULL. The place horse was a winner of the Gr-3 HOLY BULL STAKES. HOLY BULL'S son, POHAVE, a 7yo graded SW, just died in Dubai. It's been a HOLY BULL kind of week.

TOUSSAUD IS WAY OVERRATED. Blue Hen? Not really. Empire Maker was mostly all hype, not results on the race track.

CIVILISATION, the one-eyed stud, was bred to over sixty [60] mares at $3,500 a pop, so we'll see if he can make it as a sire once his foals start running.
