It made the Today Show this morning as well.

Another favorite race finish was that stakes race in So Cal a few years ago, when the tri was Behaving Badly, Miss Terrible, and Leave Me Alone.

I think he's a former claimer in the same way that Blind Luck is, in that both broke their maidens in the claiming ranks. But Noosa Beach was certainly never a real claimer.

z has lost a step. just a step but a step nevertheless... If that's the case (and that's a big if), I suspect it has something to do with her giving around ten pounds (or more) to her rivals in previous races. In the Hirsch, she's only giving 2-4 pounds to each of them, so I suspect she may redisco...

I'd be more inclined to blame the jockey than the trainer for the GC loss, but whatever. It's their horse...

Yeah, but these are small guys. What does he ride at? 115? His story of one drink the night before sounds a little fishy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had maybe three drinks the night before and then blew .02 at noon the next day.

If she were mine, I'd get her a victory in 2010 before trying to run for a higher purse.

Yeah, I hear you, but as the reigning HOY, she will still be weighted quite highly in the Foster (before you factor in the F&M allowance). Plus, Rail Trip and Blame are no slouches. All things considered, I'd give 5-10 pounds to the field and try my hand in the Fleur De Lis.
