Re: Frankel's first crop is tremendous!

Frankel's first crop was a total failure.
He serviced the dams of 47 G1 winners or producers.

A total joke.

Re: Thoughts on this breeding plan please.

The best horse so far out of a FootSteps mare has been

Dark Angel is up to 65,000 euro now.

I still stick by my Candy Ride choice and his latest star Mastery looks a good un.

Re: look at the pedigree on Frankel's first winner

Anything outside of three generations is meaningless.

All this so called inbreeding is 4 great grandfathers 2 of which are the same just in reverse order in the pedigree.

Re: Best jumps stallion feom this list for this mare?

I'd be more inclined to go for
1. Kalanisi
2. Arakan
3. Westerner

Califet not a bad option, definitely not Sageburg a jumper with storm cat knees and spindle legs? Yikes.
The inbreeding with Soldier of Fortune just a bit too close up in the first 2 generations.

Re: SongBird Out of the Oaks

1/4 odds before today for the win.

Odds like that make me laugh its 10/1 that any horse who has qualified makes the starting gate from now.

Watch there will be 2 Derby defectors in the next few weeks, they are horses not programmable machines, shit happens odds of 1/4 are just insane.

Posse has a G1 winner from an Unbridled Song mare ROLLING FOG. Alpha is another good option but unproven AP Indy/Unbridled cross has multiple G1 winners, Dirt Turf AWS. Giant Surprise a "proven" option. They would be my top 3. Why has nobody bred the winning half sisters to your mare who w...

Re: Tavistock-Untypical Montjeu Son Rising to the Stars

Not to be a pain in the arse or anything but your article states

On March 12, his son Zabeel took the Gr.1 New Zealand Stakes at Ellerslie.

Shouldn't this have been Volkstok’n’barrell and not Zabeel?

Re: The GR I Florida Derby

Strange decision with Nyquist to ship to florida for a $1m bonus, shows how cheap the owner is. Nyquist won. I don't think it was that strange a decision. Well for someone who is worth $300m going for a $1m dollar bonus is cheap, in any rational persons mind. Think of the money he is making out of ...
