Re: High Fertility.

Kitten’s Joy! I had a mare that didn’t ovulate after breeding, so I wanted to send her for a double. Ramsey Farm told me not to worry about it, that KJ is very fertile. She ovulated I think 6 days after breeding and lo and behold she was pregnant with one cover.

Re: General A Rod Possible DQ?

He should be DQ'd in my opinion. I was there and he didn't get to the barn until everyone else was leaving. Security had told him numerous times he had to be there too. No excuse.

Sabino and rabicano TB?

Hi all, I bred a filly with some unusual coloring. I know nothing about color, so thought I might get some insight here! She is chestnut and has 4 white socks and a blaze, and just recently I have noticed a lot of white hairs appearing in her coat, predominantly on her flanks, but they are starting ...

Horse does not show up in progeny of his dam.

I just added Art of King to the database. He is out of my mare, With Every Wish, but whenever I bring up her progeny, he is not on the list. I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I have tried several times. Can anyone help?

Thanks pfrsue. As much as I hate to sell him, he will be in the fasig November sale. His dam is Venus Rosewater. She is by Grand Slam and is 3/4 to Alke. Here is a more recent pic http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/s720x720/431429_10150984982221782_2064078344_n.jpg

Thanks so much LB! I'm trying to decide whether to sell him as a weanling or a yearling. The main thing I do is pinhooking weanlings to yearlings, so it seems a bit counter intuitive to sell him in november. On the other hand you never know what could happen in a year, it's a tough decision.

2012 Scat Daddy colt

Here is my homebred. I only have 2 mares, 1 at the time he was bred. I couldn't be happier with him. :)

published work under false name?

How often does this happen? I recently bought an off track thoroughbred for re training. I have had this horse since wednesday. On friday there was a published work for him (fastest of the day). Unless he was magically transported to the track from my farm for this work, there's no possible way this...

Very interesting thoroughbred dissection

Wish it was a bit more in depth but very interesting nonetheless. Includes a short piece on displacing the soft palate.

I was really upset that the henry went for so little. He was one of the better looking henrys I had seen. The good thing is that both went to people I had approached, and are really good homes. Henry went to a Japanese guy that lives locally, even he couldn't believe he got him for that price. The b...

I have 2 in today, 2697 and 2716. I'm very nervous! This is my first time selling, and I prepped them myself.
