She has now foaled and we shall see if the mark disappears once the nursing slows down or stops.
Thanks for your reply.

Birdcatcher spots?
A friend bred her mare - Hillaryswinner - who has a half star as her only facial marking. She started developing another white marking just above her nostrils. It keeps getting bigger and there is also a small slash in one nostril. I saw her yesterday and a lot of the white mark has pink skin under ...

Libya.
If you're looking for a black (EE) sabino stallion, I do know of a nice one standing in Southern Ontario.

MattieCat thank you for the nice comments. I think he's pretty sweet looking as well but I know I'm 100% biased. :) Jorge :) I hope he helps add lots and lots of data to your studies. I know he's going to enjoy trying. He has a nice race mare lined up for next year (she's too young to breed this yea...

Cleverly Concealed needs to be updated
It's been a while since I've posted any pictures of my kid and I love the way he is growing up. It's finally been wonderful on the weather front so I decided to take advantage. Gatsby looks like a straight cremello but he is also a DW with about 40% white markings. Anybody familiar with Sato - his g...

lol You guys made me feel much better ... I read and reread and couldn't figure out what I was missing. For that I thank you! I guess it doesn't help that the more they define the genes that produce specific colours or quirks ... the more confused I get. But I try, I really try. lol And I love Jorge...

summerhorse ... between that black ancestry thread and your reply, I want to go back to bed! Yes Gatsby is from the Puchilingui line and yes I am trying to learn more about DW and what it can and can't do .... but I still can't figure out the connect to that horse pedigree that was posted. But...

It looks like Direct's Unique One is a new mutation (without knowing his sire and dam and their markings) so it doesn't really matter who is in his back ground. He's no. 1 of the line. But ...this is where it gets confusing. I post a picture of my horse grown up. Jorge (I think) links him to anothe...
