Bold Ruler lines.
Quick question that one of you may be able to answer quicker than I can review 50 pedigrees: What current stallion in Kentucky brings the most lines of Bold Ruler?

High Fertility.
Have a mare that I"ll probably get just one chance to cover. My question: Who are the stallions in KY that are noted for high fertility? The ones that will settle many/most mares on the first cover. I believe Midnight Lute is one example. Do you know of others? I know of some to stay away from!...

Northern Dancer
Looking for either the highest concentration of Northern Dancer or the most number of lines to Northern Dancer in a stallion in KY. Wicked Strong has three. What other options are out there?
Iliad
Any idea where he ended up, or will end up? Expected to see him surface somewhere by now. Saw him live, studied him quite a while and thought he was the real deal, a lot like Mastery (different horses, but same sort of potential).

Re: Stallions with Caro
Thank you! Great info. Was really hoping to find something inbred to Caro. Sort of expected to see more crosses of some of the lines that that carry him, but Muskatier's dam is the only thing I've seen. Appreciate that perspective Bettina.

Re: Stallion Season Auctions
They've saved me thousands as well. Think we all probably understand the whole "game" is to accurately handicap or assess value. And, yes, they can be win-win. But none of that is the point. Point is, they need to be managed better; they've evolved some in the last two years or so, and not...

Re: Stallion Season Auctions
I need to vent. I prefer to buy regular, negotiated S&N seasons, and do for most of my mares most of the time. But the stallion acutions do offer an alternative and they can even be a little fun. So, I dabble. But what they've evolved into disturbs me. I've been approached four times in the last...
Texas Red
Anyone know or have an opinion on if and where this guy will surface for 2017 breeding?
Cupid
Anyone know of any stallion plans for this one? Haven't heard much from him.

Re: Long neck?
Bred her to Graydar this year on exactly the same thought! But it was May, she didn't settle and elected not to cover again. So she's open right now. Danzig is her broodmare sire, so that is a big piece of the size issue. Guess I'm giving 20% of the story every time I reply! Sorry. Had a Take Charge...

Re: Long neck?
All great ideas, and appreciated. This mare is small. She's very well bred, but yeah, 15.3. Maybe. Because she's on the small side, and none of her three foals have the size that sells well commercially, I've put her to work trying to make race babies -- at least unitl I can get one to blacktype! An...

Long neck?
Sort of a strange question, but I'm looking for a KY based stallion that has a long neck. Anybody know or suggest somebody? I've got one mare in the group who is a well bred Smart Strike mare, and had some moderate success on the race track. I believe what held her back from racing at a higher level...

Re: Double Danzig?
I've been deliberating the same question myself. I have a two year old, soon to be three, filly who is 2x3. Probably wouldn't have bred her so tightly myself but wanted the mare and she was in foal to Langfuhr. Mine is small. She showed some promise early at the track this year. Is very quick, but c...

Re: Materiality is now retired
Where did Materiality end up? Last I read "stallion plans were pending."
