Runhappy wins........trainer fired!
Runhappy wins and trainer is fired by the "manager" who takes over again. Way to spoil a feelgood day at the races.

Re: Mongolian Saturday wins BC Sprint
Enebish Ganbat was the trainer Erin's Isle, and Mongolian Saturday is owned by Mongolian Racing Stable who are building a huge racetrack back home on the Steppes. I think that they have bought about 800 horses from New Zealand and own a wonderful horse down there named Mongolian Khan he is a dual De...

Re: Tevez.
Thank you ,it was fun to watch although nerve wracking at the same time. The jock rode him perfectly to take advantage of his rail closing strengths. Saving ground was probably the difference between 1st and 4th and this time it went our way. I love the fall up there and might make it up to watch a ...

Re: Tevez.
Cooler temps now and Tevvy makes his fall return in 2 1/2 hours at Woodbine on his favorite surface. I would have liked to make it easier on him but the condition book doesn't offer anything cheaper at 6f or less.Anyway there's speed to run at and he might get a piece even at 9 yrs old.

Re: American Pharoah wins triple crown :)
His win in the Haskell was an exercise gallop so the Travers may well be the same.

Re: Tevez.
Well that was nice, he tried hard down the lane despite his hate of hot weather. Fall is coming anyway and he should enjoy it then.

Re: Tevez.
I always liked polytrack racing but loved to combine it with dirt training. I think that total poly training is a mistake and few horses keep coming back year after year. Tevez is in good hands up at Woodbine with a close friend of mine and he is mixing it up a bit to keep the old boy happy. My circ...

Re: Tevez.
Thanks Geo, I thought he ran well enough and kept at his task to the wire.

Re: Tevez.
hahaha I have no problem with Guinness, especially over in Ireland. Any way I think that Tevvy might win one if he gets a decent trail behind the speed on the rail. He seems to prefer the rail which is a no brainer really being the shortest way to the wire. Another spot comes up on the 29th I think ...

Re: Tevez.
Ok we scratched out of a $16 and back into a $10 and hopefully give him an easier task but you never know. The old boy seems to need things to go his way to do his best and he did get a beautiful ride when he won as a fresh horse last fall. In all honesty he may have lost a step but whatever he does...

Re: Eight to the Bar
Ok Madelyn I just spent some time going over his career so far and a few things come to mind. Your horse has had a nice rest since his last race which can only be in his favour as he ran his first 18 races in one long campaign and now I think he will have matured both mentally and physically. After ...

Re: California Chrome Headed to Royal Ascot
Hi there, I saw a video of Chrome warming up on the exercise grounds in England and he did not look very smooth. Hopefully he will come around gradually over there but he is going to miss a prep race? This may end in tears.

Re: Tevez.
I was very happy with 2nd place, the favourite is tough now and the barn is hot. If you step back and look at the big picture I cannot believe that he is still competitive at 9 after being down to $5 k only 2 years ago. Last fall he was a fresh horse and did well to win and I only hope that he can w...
