Takeover Target by Harlans Holiday

Thoughts on him as a potential stallion? He stands in Louisiana for 2k. He was a solid turf runner for Chad Brown. Probley best at a mile and 16th. Never ran on dirt but has a very versatile pedigree being out of an Empire Maker mare and family of Critical Eye.

Lone Star Special

Thoughts on this stallion? His pedigree & race record leave some things to be desired but as a producer he has been outstanding. His sire Malabar Gold was an extremely good looking son of Unbridled, who had a lot of speed. He is bred similar to Unbridleds Song. As a sire however he never threw m...

60's, 70's & 80's Bloodhorse Magazines FREE!

I have went through some storage and need to move a lot of old bloodhorse mags. They are some odds & ins from the 60's - 80's & I even have some more recent ones if someone wanted them also. They are very neat reads. I would rather give them to someone than throw them away. Pick up only. I l...

He will be a toss in all my raceday wagers. You have to pay attention to Aidan's pair in the Turf but the main horse of his that has my interest is Daddy Long Legs in the Juv.

Your thinking is way off from mine on this. I think The Factor has little to no chance in the Sprint. Yes he is very fast but if he is pushed & headed early (no doubt he would be in the Sprint) he would fold up. He is very talented but I'm not sold on how much heart he has. I've noticed other Wa...

There was a stallion named Exciting Story that stood at Lanes End Texas a few years ago. He died in 2004 & his last crop was in 05. He was by Diablo & out of a Valid Appeal mare. You may be able to find some progeny of him in that area still. It was ashame he died so young as he was looking ...

I will add High Yield & Grand Slam. I am also not a fan of sons of Unbridled's Song nor most sons of Unbridled either. It is hard to imagine a worse stallion than Eddington right now.

If you do decide to breed her Indian Charlie has had limited but very promising results so far with Dixieland Band mares. Notional may also make a lot of sense as a much cheaper alt.

Seattle Slew/In Reality (Relaunch,Valid Appeal) Nick?

I think this is one of the most underrated nicks in thoroughbred breeding. Even rather obscure breeding has produced top level racehorses & stallions. It seems to work well either way. Has anyone really studied this & found line breeding etc reasons why these lines seem to cross so well toge...

Dont forget about Showing Up standing in FL as well between he & Shakespeare they are two of the most talented American turf horses of the past few years. Showing Up had G1 talent on the dirt as well. I think either def has a chance to make a good sire.

That is too bad as I among many others had a liking for him. I am a big Forest Wildcat fan & with Zensational looking like a prime time sprinter WS had alot going for him. This is sad news for the owners, farm & La breeders.

Wildcat Shoes

Anyone know any information on him as I've heard he has had problems & or maybe even has died? Thanks
