Any opinions on this lad?
Obviously the record was fantastic …I assume he did not retire sound.
I have a Candy Ride mare who needs some size . I dont usually go to first year sires, but he could be the real thing .

He's a bit under the radar right now, but I'm looking for feedback on his foals .
He was an excellent race horse , of course, and I have a Lion Heart mare that I'm thinking of sending to him.
First yearlings are this year.
Any early buzz on this guy?
thanks, john

Friends: I'm sure this has been a topic of discussion before on this board but i cant research it through the search feature very well and would appreciate opinions by others who may have the current dope... The conventional wisdom seems to be not to inbreed to Storm Cat . I have a mare out of a dec...

Thanks to all who responded. My hesitation with Include was less the 3x4 inbreeding, and more in giving the foal so many strains of Turn-To, who can pass on a weak foot.......but Include's influence on soundness cannot be denied. If I breed to him I would probably do it twice. I bred her twice to Vi...

Comments on my stallion short list?
Friends: Mare is Never Out 1999, by Take Me Out . 16.2 hands. She was very fast out of the gate...G II placed....bad osselets cut her career short. This years short list: 1.Forestry(nice linebreeding to Dr. Fager)...thought about him when his fee was alot more 2. Artie Schiler (not thrilled about tu...

I'm thinking of sending a mare to Florida and she's a great match on paper. Has anyone seen this guy's babies? He couldnt run a lick, but he;s a certainly good looking devil...Still, I'd be highly surprised if he's really that successful. Any insight into how his babies are selling?

Has anyone gotten a good look at this fellow and/or his foals? Obviously he was a quality`MG1 winner. He seems to have a chance to break out this year but its hard to get a feeling for how good his book of mares has been thus far. I like what he brings to a pedigree with Ribot/Flower Bowl underneath...

I Want Dynaformer as a Broodmare Sire. Can I get to him?
I'm looking to breed my mare to a stallion out of a daughter of Dynaformer. In other words I want Hail to Reason, Roberto, etc linebred in the middle of the prospective foals pedigree. I am having trouble finding such a stallion candidate in Kentucky. Am I missing something obvious? Can anyone help m...

This guy is obviously well thought of at Lanes End but he's off the radar screen right now. 1.Anyone seen his foals? 2. I cant rememeber why he retired...was anything wrong with him Did'nt he run as a 4 y/o for awhile? He certainly had a tremendous turn of foot. He's great looking with a first rate p...

This guy is coming to Kentucky to stand for Ben Walden at his new place in 2010. He's really a great looking horse and has a decent record on turf in Europe. He's a Danzig so people will knock him for that. Out of the same family as Dynaformer. I have a Lord at War mare that might go well with him. ...
POSSE
Friends: Thoughts on this guy in terms of body phenotype and typical foal? I havent seen him. I own a large bodied, tall but narrow mare (16.2) who could use a sire that adds girth and rear end . I havent read any reviews about Posse's typical foals. He looks like a medium sized sprinter/miler but i...

Thanks all!
Thanks to all who expressed their opinions. I did , in fact, send her to Ide last week , who was the consensus choice of this board, hands down. Ideally, I would send her to a son of Grand Slam, who has such an affinity with the Salt Lake line, but the only opportunity in Louisiana is Fire Slam who(...

I have a tough little mare in Louisiana (Grain of Salt, 2001) who was a mildly promising sprinter before she developed intractable throat problems. I am trying to decide whether to breed her to Ide or Good and Tough. Both live in her neighborhood. Ide would seem to be favor her compact, sprinter bod...
