Tiger Ridge Mare

What do you think about this mare to a son of AP Indy, since Tiger Ridge and AP Indy are 1/2 brothers? Would be 3x3 to Weekend Surprise.

I would suggest Registration Status on The Jockey Club's site. I checked a some of these mares, looking for a 2011 foal. A few do have a foal of this year and it will tell you who the breeder is.

Looking for Miami Trainer

I am looking for a trainer in Miami for my 2 yo. If anyone has personal experience with a trainer down there, I would appreciate any input. I want someone who will take good care of my boy and treat him like the good horse he is!

His ad in a local publication this week says his fee is $12,500. They just can't help themselves, can they?

Rail Trip

Whatever happened to Rail Trip? Anyone heard or read anything after his last race (first for Dutrow)?

I am interested in how many mares Congrats bred this year. Our mare could never get in when she needed to. She was cycling naturally and when you are competing with mares that have been prostined and are booking 5 days out or more AND they have overbooked the horse, you are SOL. I can only imagine w...

Um, I'm pretty sure this is a racing forum. Ridiculous that you would post here...and endless everything-but-racing photos to boot. Purty horsies - so inappropriate here.

He must first gain legal ownership of the horses, then contact the stallion farm. They can release the service certificate, he would agree in writing to have the papers issued and sent to the stallion farm, where they are held until the horse is sold. They place a lien when the horse goes to sale, t...

Milwaukee Brew

Dr. Zic won the G1 Vinery Madison yesterday at Keeneland. If you haven't already, look at the field she defeated. Informed Decision, for one. I follow a bunch of Milwaukee Brews in my stable mail and they are cranking up for the season at Woodbine. It is going to be a great summer for Milwaukee Brew...

In my case, the vet pulled a progestin level and did an ultrasound. Particular areas of the placenta are measured for thickening, which indicates infection. There is a normal range for the progestins. If the level is very high, this also indicates placentitis. I believe you said your mare is less th...

My mare did the same thing - 2 weeks later she waxed, dripped milk. She had placentitis. We treated her with, what I am told, is the widely recommended course of medication - double dose Regu-Mate, antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. After 7 days, she foaled at 308 days - our goal at the beginning ...
