Survey! Please help :)

Hi everyone! I'm studying Equine Science and Thoroughbred Management and for our business module we had to come up with a equine product and write a marketing plan for it. My product is a foaling monitoring device that measures both sweating and heart rate in order to be more reliable. I would be so...

Zenyatta's sister to Ireland?

A few days back there was an article in the European Bloodstock News (EBN) about Zenyatta's yearling half-sister by Henrythenavigator. According to this article she was sold to an Irish owner and will head to Ireland. Do you guys know anything about it? Because I only found a few sites that wrote so...

In the sales catalogues they are usually called "grey or roan", so I'm not really sure whether roan is an independent color or not.
As far as I know those "roan" horses are actually normal greys with chestnut (or bay) as the base color thus being a reddish grey.

I hope this helps :D

I saw one of Far Far Away's races last year (on TV), because he raced with one of our horses! Unfortunately, both were unplaced... But Far Far Away was definitely an eyecatcher :D

We are expecting 13 foals this season.
I'm going to "steal" LB's system now :D

They're by those stallions:

January: Shirocco
February: Blue Canari (our own stallion)
March: Blue Canari, 3x Vespone, Stakkato (our warmblood mare)
April: Vespone, 3x Blue Canari, Authorized
May: Blue Canari

I'm totally in love with Badabling Bling!!!
To bad I don't live in the USA (or you in Europe  )
Cause shipping her to Switzerland would just be way too expensive for me :(

There was a yearling at the Sales in Baden-Baden (Germany) with rather similar face markings.

Her pedigree:

I guess the white is coming from her mother's side, since I actually know her mother's full-sister, who is a chestnut with four white legs and a blaze.

I will try to find out more about her, who her parents are and stuff like this. I only know that she's a 3 year old warmblood filly. Here's another picture of her, showing her head. (My sister made the pics as the horse stands at the same stable her jumper does.) http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/...

totally weird legs

Hi everyone! I just thought I have to show you this horse, even though she's not a TB. I have never seen leg markings like this (or similar) before. http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/Mischi54/IMG_2720.jpg All four legs are like this and the white never touches the hoof. It looks as if she wa...
