Re: Derby

No doubt that Max Sec came out, but IMHO this was not quite what it looks like on first blush and I think the stewards definitely got things very wrong. 1. Why no Inquiry sign - instead only the 'objections'. 2. The incriminating picture with War of Wheel's legs between Max Security's is deceiving....

Old thread, but according to PQ, Siggi The Alien is now a broodmare, and a photo is up there.

Re: American Pharoah wins triple crown :)

Me, too! I was on my feet, screaming and crying the whole race, I had a feeling all day that this might finally be the year. Especially when Victor let him go around the last corner. I think I was hoarse by the home stretch, lol! Very emotional race for me, I am so happy I witnessed history. :D You...

Re: I'm finally a part owner

Haven't posted much here recently, but thought a few folks might like to know that I have purchased a 2% share of three well-bred 2YO's, all of whom, if all goes well, are headed for Saratoga. I am psyched and scared. My goal is to have success so I can invest more money and maybe be a full ...

Re: The 140th Running of The GR I Preakness Stakes

I really think that's the key. I think as long as he doesn't over think the belmont, i think AP has about a 75% chance of winning the race. I think if he comes out and just says look, I got hte best horse, beat me. I think he SHOULD win. I think that Empire maker in his blood will get him the dista...

Re: My post breeders cup thoughts

1. I want to stress the fact that I will not shed on tear if the breeders cup is never ran at Santa Anita ever again. Throughout the regular year,, the track is quite handicappable. slight, slight, SLIGHT speed bias. Nothing crazy. Good horses win. Not on BC day the classic race just illustrated ho...

Re:

I think the above bay looks more wild bay with a gulastra plume (flaxen tail). The top bay (still love!) might also get white from her bottom line which goes to Northern Dancer. Hard to tell without a picture! Bay? With so much white on the legs it's hard to tell, and you can't see the ears that we...

Risen Spirit...

...just ran (unplaced) in the first at Tampa Bay Downs, 7F $8k maiden claimer. Caught my eye due to his flaxen coloring that extended to the mane, making him look almost palomino.

Anyone else ever seen this animal?

Pretty cool-looking.
