Re: Breeders Cup
Perhaps the best bet of the day will be in the 5th race. Bulletin won for fun in fast time and his works indicate that he has plenty of natural speed and more than likely will be the one to catch and I do not believe they will catch him. Soldier's Call looks best of the Europeans but the closer that...

Breeders Cup
The forum has been light but we may be able to put some life into it with the BC races this weekend. I have lost personal contact with TJ and I can only hope that he reads this and contacts me. At any rate, we have 4 days to look at past performances and handicap the races.

Re: Osare
Shergar I normally play Belmont but did not today. This filly had a little trouble in her first start but to win against top competition and horses trained by Chad Brown, Todd Pletcher, Tom Proctor and Chris Clement may indicate that she is special. I will be watching this one, thanks for the heads ...

Re: The 150th Running of The GR I Belmont Stakes
All anyone has to do is read the official chart or watch a replay. Restoring Hope was well off the rail and did not block any runners. There was always room for any runner to go early. If his owner believed he should not have been entered then all he had to do was scratch, he did not, he paid the en...

Re: The 150th Running of The GR I Belmont Stakes
I will try to keep this post short, but there are some things I would like to mention. First, the only other GR1 winner, Free Drop Billy, accomplished this feat as a 2 year old, nothing much at 3. Second, no entry has earned a higher Beyer figure than Justify, with Gronkowski not applicable, but he ...

TJ
I would take your opinion over anyone when it comes to horses and maybe golf. I guess you will have to blush again, because it is very hard to put into words just what you mean to this forum. I would love it if he draws the 7 hole because three 7's is a big hit on most slot machines.

Triple Crown winners and names
As we get ready for the final leg of the Triple Crown I decided to share my take on the names of the winners. Looking at the 12 Triple Crown winners to date, 10 had regal names befitting the accomplishment, Omaha and Whirlaway were the only winners that had rather ordinary names. It can be said that...

Hope you put Chad's horse in your exacta. I ended up in good shape with my Oaks/Derby hit, but I bet Mendelsshon to win, he got slammed pretty good, but Justify was the winner from start to finish and your faith and knowledge were well placed, as always.

Re: The 144th Running of The Kentucky Derby
While it is still early to post on the Derby, I believe the Oaks/Derby double is usually a good bet, with that said, this year I will play the 7,10 and 14 in the Oaks with the 7,14 in the Derby. A 7-7 play is very live, in my opinion, as well as a 14/14 play. So many things can happen in each race, ...

Well she made a nice move coming home, had to alter a little and ended up 3rd, all in all not bad, I will give her another chance or two.

Believe In Victory
Believe In Victory, a more than half sister to Shared Belief is entered in the 5th at Keeneland today. She has steady works for this and if she is anything like her more than half brother she will be hard to beat. Just might be worth keeping an eye on her.

Re: The Group 2 UAE Derby
I was going to log in this morning and remind everyone that Mendelssohn had already indicated that he could travel and perform well. Also, just as in the Bdrs Cup, his connections would not travel to Dubai without the knowledge of just how good he is. Only the best ones win all on their own by 18 an...

Toccet
A 3 year old by this stallion out of a City Zip mare, Clown Prince, is entered today at LRL in the first race at 1 Mile. I am going to play him in some doubles and maybe just to win. He should have no problems with the distance and he will not have to be much to contend with these.

Re: Justify
TJ This horse may just have needed time. His works were fast and steady with only one break of 30 days during which he shipped from KY to CA. He won as he pleased in 1:21 and change and could be something special. He has a very nice pedigree with the full sisters, Yarn, dam of Tale of the Cat and Pr...
