Re: Older graded stakes producing mare worth the investment

Random thoughts. Will you be paying to board her? If so how much? If it costs you $1,500.00 per month to keep her then you will be breeding a 17 year old mare with a spotty breeding history to hopefully get a 18 year old mare with foal. Twenty fours months of board would be $36,000.00 plus stud fee,...

Interesting Pedigree Free of ND Mr. P and Bold Ruler

When is the last time you looked at a pedigree that was free of Northern Dancer, Mr. Prospector and Bold Ruler?

Re: Unbridled's Song mare.

Another low budget thought would be Morning Line. Incantation inbreeding has resulted in about a 12% black type strike rate. The AP Indy 3x4 inbreeding is a little iffy. ML also had In Reality and Lyphard. http://www.pedigreequery.com/index.php?query_type=hypomating&search_bar=hypomating&l=&...

Re: Runhappy wins........trainer fired!

It's tough making ends meet when you're on the racetrack and many trainers owe a lot to the feed man, the farms, the vet, the van company etc. When they win races they pay their debts....now Maria is trying to get the 10% owed to her by the owner. Re: Looks to Spare

There is certainly some back class in the distaff side. Little Hut was dam of Habitat (champion) and Northfields( decent stallion) Juliet's Nurse was broodmare of the year in 1966.
