Re: Famous Racehorses in the 20th Century
PJ Pluth did a great job of tracking down 20th-century Kentucky Derby winners who won the race in their first outing at 3, but it was Frost who was definitive in naming Morvich, the 1922 winner, as the last horse to accomplish the feat. (No 21st-century runner has done it, and under the current points system, it seems highly unlikely that any horse will in the foreseeable future.)
