Conquest Curlinate

Postby Cree » Thu Jun 11, 2015 6:01 pm

Casse sends out the big grey and 4 others (including Danzig Moon) in the Plate Trial this weekend.

I like the Attfield trainee, Danish Dynaformer. Been training like a monster since his troubled 3rd last out. He's my sleeper for the Breeders Stakes on the grass.

Still got a soft spot for Conquest Curlinate, although I do like Danish Dynaformer also.

Danish Dynaformer wins it!!!! Conquest Curlinate 2nd. And sadly, Danzig Moon broke down.

I got kicked off the live stream, so I had to wait for Twitter to tell me.

Thanks. He is really coming around at the right time. I guess he isn't a sleeper anymore :-)

Sorry to hear Danzig Moon was euthanized as a result of his injury.

Well done Cree. Nice pick.

I keep thinking that Conquest Curlinate really needs more distance.

Very sad about Danzig Moon.

Thanks.
Danish Dynaformer is such a neat horse, jockey said he is cool as a cucumber. So much to like about the horse - last crop of Dynaformer, trained by Attfield, 2nd dam is Hollywood Wildcat, and talented to boot. I really thought he was sitting on a big one, let's hope there is another big one in him for the Plate.

I agree about Conquest Curlinate. I think he needs to be running at Belmont, he needs that long stretch. I'd love to see him in the Travers. I wonder if they have plans to try him on grass at all?

Still in a bit of shock over Danzig Moon. We hadn't seen the best of him, I am so sure of that. Feel really bad for the connections.

Conquest Curlinate is out of the Queens Plate.
Darn! I'm going and was looking forward to seeing him run.
I'm still looking at Danish Dynaformer for the win, but Shaman Ghost was very good in the Marine. He will have some competition on the front with Oaks winner Academic. Hoping they set it up for DD.
I really liked Ami's Flatter all winter and decided to decorate my hat in his silks colour (purple and green).
It's a shame about Curlinate, he had a real shot.

It says he has a minor injury. A real shame.

I just looked at Woodbine's card that day, it is solid. Should be a wonderful day.

Scrap that, he's been retired with a sesamoid injury. That really is disappointing.

Hi Cree,
Yes, it seems it was an unfortunate training accident. The owner is quite upset and said it should never have happened. He will post details into the incident and voice an opinion about it soon on the feed below. TJ
