i saw nate's mindshaft's last win. he's a grade 2 winner on dirt he has class. last race i believe was his first on turf and he won it.

if they make the mistake and leave him on the lead he can shake lose this isn't a hell of a field.

I have to pull for RAHYSTRADA! Love the ole boy and his connections - I will not even handicap this one, just place a small win wager on the ole man.
OK maybe I'll also use him in an exacta box....

I'm taking a shot with Guest of Honour, based strictly on pedigree.
Best of luck to all.

Joel Rosario dropped everything at Saratoga and left for Arlington to ride Little Mike in the Million. Have to think he needed that last race (The United Nations) to get his legs back under him after 2 very poor performances in Dubai prior to the UN. Training so much better after his beat in the United Nations. Should return to his old form where he defeated Point Of Entry in the BC Turf. TJ

Anybody left out there to talk down about Kittens Joy and the Ramseys?

A day one could only dream about.

Run the race - the one that's really worth winning.

Great race....unfortunate to have a DQ in a race like this, but here's the replay showing the infraction in deep stretch. TJ

Sometimes I don't understand DQ's in racing.
Yes, The Apache came over like 3 lanes, but in all honesty, they were head and head until the last few strides when the jockey pulled him away from the Ramsey horse and The Apache then pulled away. I don't think Real Solution was going to get past him, The Apache looks like a pitbull in a fight.

Oh well. I read deKoch agreed with the DQ, but I didn't think The Apache was going to lose that race.

A fantastic day for the Ramseys.

You really need to rewatch the head on. The Apache was getting hit left handed and decided that the rail and that whip were for suckers. I didn't realize during the race why Real Solution seemed to have the momentum but couldn't go by, then the head on makes it obvious. I don't think he'd have won by daylight, but the only reason he didn't win by a neck or whatever was all that ground loss. The Apache didn't pull away at all. The appearance of him winning any kind of tussle through determination was created by the interference. He simply lost less ground than Real Solution while stopping RS's momentum.

That said, The Apache's a very nice horse. It's just not fair to leave him up in this instance. I'm sure he'll show off his talent in the future, hopefully under a right handed whip next time.
