How is he doing, Wilf? Is he flourishing in Toronto?

I always liked polytrack racing but loved to combine it with dirt training. I think that total poly training is a mistake and few horses keep coming back year after year. Tevez is in good hands up at Woodbine with a close friend of mine and he is mixing it up a bit to keep the old boy happy. My circumstances have changed and I am unable to travel and race like before but I am able to watch racing live at Woodbine from home which is far better than flying up and back for the day. I hate the flying process anymore ,it's just no fun and this is coming from a travelling fool such as I. Anyway he might be back in soon but it takes him a while longer to recover these days so he will only run when he is sharp again. Whatever happens it's been a fun ride and until I sell the farm down here his buddy, the 30 yr old Classic Jewel is awaiting his return.

Well that was nice, he tried hard down the lane despite his hate of hot weather. Fall is coming anyway and he should enjoy it then.

Cooler temps now and Tevvy makes his fall return in 2 1/2 hours at Woodbine on his favorite surface. I would have liked to make it easier on him but the condition book doesn't offer anything cheaper at 6f or less.Anyway there's speed to run at and he might get a piece even at 9 yrs old.

Thank you ,it was fun to watch although nerve wracking at the same time. The jock rode him perfectly to take advantage of his rail closing strengths. Saving ground was probably the difference between 1st and 4th and this time it went our way. I love the fall up there and might make it up to watch a race before meet's end and remarkably he has won at least one race in the fall at Woodbine now for the past 4 years.

Ok we are in tomorrow in the last race at Woodbine, he likes the inside and with any luck he will run a place. I know he was lucky to win last out and maybe we used it all up that time but he is the morning line fav in what looks like a cavalry charge cutback to 5/8ths.

Yes he was bothered at the start and shuffled to the rear , basically with nowhere to go and weaved his way through to grab 4th. We have been a bit lucky so we were due for a hiccup. Hopefully he can get another in before they close. They lose about 10 days because they are installing the Tapeta surface in and want to get it done before winter sets in. Tapeta is slightly different from Polytrack so it will be interesting to see how things unfold.
