Sack of Rubies, race 7, Saturday at the PHA.
My Son Spider, race 8, Saturday at Colonial Downs.
Brother and sister, on the weeds, two different states, an hour apart. Let's hope the weather holds till then. :)

I would choose Philly for the one to attend. Best of luck, I hope you win them both!

If the weather holds, it looks like the hubby will be headed south to CO Downs, and I will hold the fort down locally. It's harder to watch the simulcast sometimes than to be at the rail. Ah well. :D

We scratched Saturday after they took the races off the turf at the PHA.
Spider didn't care a bit for the soft going or the heat/humidity at CO Downs.
He's fine, however, happy to be home.
Sister "Charlotte" was her usual feisty self, closing like a train in the stretch to just miss by a head. The 7.5F distance is a bit short for her, but was a good next step after the layoff. She is a wonderful mare.
To answer your question, we gave her lots of time after her maiden breaker because of a tendon. She is back. :D

Great for the UBJ babies. I'm glad they are happy and made it home safe.
