Looking for a bit of blacktype

Postby madelyn » Sun Jul 05, 2009 6:24 am

K Lynn, a filly we own a % of, is entered tomorrow night at Indiana Downs in the 4th race, a $70K stakes race for IN-bred fillies and mares. I glanced at the entries and thought it looked awfully deep - but she ran with these on 6/22, got boxed, checked, lost a shoe, and still beat a few. She carries the #3 saddlecloth but breaks from her lucky post position, #2. GO K LYNN!!!!

Good luck. Based on her pp's, she can certainly get a piece.

Well my initial assessment of the field was accurate, it was way deep and she got dusted. I own only 10% and pay no bills so I have no say. On to Hoosier and her N4L condition I hope.

When I looked at the field I and saw the mare she was running against I had to whistle as they were a tough lot. Better luck next time out.

Thanks nessa, actually she was only beaten by 8 lengths total, so she did pretty well, also considering she went west to Kansas on the second turn. I thought it was a pretty deep field.
