Hi, not only did he race, but he won seven times!

All of them are at one track, Penn National in central PA

So I'm hoping that the track photographer there can set you up...

Dates he won:

Feb. 9, 2000 @ Penn National

March 28, 2001...

May 18, 2001

Dec. 29, 2001

Feb. 13, 2002

March 27, 2002

Nov 6, 2002

All of your eggs are in one basket

Owner was a Richard N. Miller

most recent trainer: Mary Cacchiotti

If by chance the track photographer of the present hasn't been at Penn National long enough to have taken those pictures, then you could tryyyyyyyy to contact the owner or trainer to see if they'd have one they would part with. Mary C. was the trainer for his last four wins.

Contact Penn National and ask to be put in touch with the track photographer there for starters...

hope this helps

Well the first move should be to contact the "track photographer" at Arlington Park. As it was just 3 1/2 years ago or less it is quite likely that the same person has been doing the photos at Arlington since then.

They would probably be able to make you a print for what is typically about $20.

FYI - Beaujestic also won on October 14, 2004 at Hawthorne race course in the Chicago area, so that gives you two chances to make a connection with an old picture.

Hope this helps.

Jule Bandit.
Still running, but I would like to get a copy of his maiden win. Thanks. It would've been in 2001, maybe a FL track???

Jimble, how is this done? Do we email the horses' names directly to you? Some are pretty far back...early 90s.

Hi, in fact Jule Bandit won his first race at Philadelphia Park on Sept. 16, 2001 in the 9th race.

He has won at quite an assortment of tracks, mostly on the eastern seaboard.

Contact the track photographer at Philly Park to see if that person was the one who took the photo in 2001. If not, they may know whom to contact to purchase back photos for about $20 each.

Winners circle photo's of Sunshine Denise foaled 3/30/2000

Postby ponytales1976 » Wed Oct 10, 2007 6:43 pm

Hi there from Ponytales Rescue
We just aquired a new rescue Sunshine Denise who is by Roanoke and out of and out of Farther North
She has won at Penn National on:
6/22/06
2/5/05
9/27/03
9/19/03
and at Philly park on:
9/12/06
2/21/06
9/17/05
4/20/04
3/30/04
9/27/03
9/19/03
1/17/03
and at MTH?
6/17/04
I want the best possible winners photo of her and don't know which win I should inquire about, or where to even inquire. Any ideas?

Charbell won just one of 38 starts and that was on

October 2, 1995 at Fairplex Park, Pomona, Calif.

Rider was Joy Scott

Trainer was Ulises Olguin

I imagine you would contact Fairplex Park and see if they can put you in touch with whoever was doing the track photography back then.

As for Sunshine Denise, twelve wins indeed...

All of them recent enough so that it is quite probable that you can still have your pick.

Lets see if I can help you narrow it:

Penn National races at night much of the time, so I think you would do well to lean away from those, if buying just one. The color contrasts would be best during the daylight, right?

Jan 17, 2003 Penn

April 10, 2003 Penn

Sept. 19, 2003 sloppy track at Penn

Sept. 27, 2003 Penn

March 30, 2004 Philly Park

April 20, 2004 Philly Park, won by 3 1/2 lengths (a good candidate)

June 17, 2004 Monmouth (only won by a half-length, likely partly obscured in the action photo)

Feb. 5, 2005 Penn National

Sept. 17, 2005 Philly Park (a good candidate)

Feb. 21, 2006 Philly Park (only by a half-length, possibly obscured )

June 22, 2006 Penn National

Sept. 12, 2006 Philly Park

So I guess I've narrowed it down to two that you might target at first.

Good luck!

Thank you SO much!! I knew he had done "well' for his people.
If you dont mind me asking though. I contacted Elisha Rathman when I bought him. I thought she had been his "trainer"?

I will try and get some win photos though. Will be interesting to see him "racing fit" not retirement fit!

Thanks again!!
