Are you searching for old winner's circle photos?
This category has just gone wild while becoming somewhat difficult to work with, so instead of trying to answer individual posts, I'm beginning my own.
For those interested in finding winner's circle photos (for purchase, from track photographers, at maybe $20 each - payable to them, and not me in any way), I can usually match the registered name (provided by you) of your (living?) thoroughbred with the dates and tracks on which he or she won.
Yes, the lifetime records are probably out there for purchase, but so many people buy retired race horses while knowing nothing about racing, and they have little idea what they'd be getting when purchasing those records. That factor and the inconvenience of paying less than $10 to some internet website for a career record without even knowing if their horse ever won, keeps people from connecting with old winner's circle photos.
This "Information Seekers" category has become too sloppy over time, and I am not inclined to thumb through every poorly headed post to find out if I can help someone.
Would it be too much trouble to put what you're "seeking" in the subject heading, instead of only putting the name of a thoroughbred which you may or may not have spelled correctly?
(and if you have twelve horses of interest, just make one post and list the twelve, and perhaps someone will come along and help. There is no reason to spam this message board needlessly with tons of posts.)
If looking for a winner's circle photo, it also wouldn't hurt to list the horse's age and pedigree (if known) - then I can be sure I'm on the right trail.
If you're looking for old winner's circle photos, please help me help you to connect with the dates and tracks on which your horse won.
Thank you.

Thanks for the offer to help! I'm looking for Winner Circle photos of Simply Because (2003) (Seattle Slew/Bent Creek City). Did most of her Racing/Winning at Hollywood Park in 2006, 2005.
Thanks in advance if you happen to find something! I've contacted the photo people at HP to see if I could purchase a winners circle photo, but they never got back to me to let me know what they had for her.

By the way, Simply Because is a 2002 model (not 2003).
Nowthen, the dates and tracks you will want/need are as follows:
May 28, 2005 5th race @ Hollywood Park
Sept. 7, 2005 5th race @ Del Mar, California
May 28, 2006 2nd race @ Hollywood Park
July 3, 2006 8th race @ Hollywood Park
Should be a breeze to obtain such recent photos when you can give them the dates needed along with your request.
(might be unique to have both pictures from "May 28" on consecutive years at the same track). I also think the Del Mar photo would look nice.
Good luck.

Funny enough I just spent a short while confirming that I saw Ms Axeu win her 2nd of two lifetime wins.
She won twice,
Feb. 25, 1996 at Suffolk Downs, MA
June 14, 1996 at Rockingham Park, NH
Someone on another thread just confirmed that she could get winner's circle photos from that era at Suffolk (and possibly Rockingham too?) through www.equiphoto.com
You're off to the races!
For Daughter of Wolf, there were three wins:
January 16, 1990 at Gulfstream Park, FL
August 1, 1990 at Arlington Park, IL
August 12, 1990 at Arlington Park
As for Cassal Pond, she won three times, both at tracks no longer in operation
Sept. 13, 1990 at Longacres, Washington State
Nov. 10, 1990 at Playfair, Washington State, in a stakes race
Nov. 6, 1991 at Playfair, Washington State
For the Longacres photo, a company called "Four Footed Fotos/Photos" would be the direction to search in.

Jimble Brimble, your efforts are so very much appreciated. Thank you!!!
On a whim, I'm looking for a win at Longacres by a horse named King Lurullah who, I believe, was a 3yo when he won that. Would you be able to find the date of that race?
Also, if possible, the date of a 14-length win at Yakima Meadows by Wizard (CHI), and the name of the track photographer.
Thank you so much!

The Wizard win, by 14 lengths, was at Longacres, not Yakima, and occured on May 22, 1992.
In fact Wizard (Chi) never raced at Yakima (YM) but did race at PM (Portland, Oregon).
King Lurullah won three times as a 3-year-old, all at Longacres:
June 14, 1992
July 11, 1992
Sept. 12, 1992
I think the appropriate track photographers were/are Four Footed Fotos/Photos but I fear that one source informed that they don't sell those anymore. (better prove it for yourself before taking that word)
Sometimes jockeys don't mind parting with old and insignificant photos (somebody on this board actually got one from Jerry Bailey last year)
The 14-length win was with Vann Belvoir
and the first two wins for King Lurullah were with V. Aragon, who I think is now Vicky Baze. The last win for King Lurullah was with B. Cooper.

I have been hoping to come across someone with the connections, or knowledge to help me!
I have an elder OTTB mare who is now having sporthorse babies (and very nice ones, too!) and is basically retired. I would absolutely love to find old pictures of her winning- she has 3 shots at having pictures. I just have no idea how to contact a track photographer. I looked at the racetrack website, and really didn't see any contact information for anything that sounded useful.
Her name is Rollicking Sue, 1987 vintage by Rollicking out of Reckon So. She raced at Charlestown Racetrack in West VA, and won 3 of her starts:
Oct 18th 1989, 5th race
June 27th 1990 2nd race
Sept 16th 1991 6th race.
It would be so incredibly cool to have pictures of her when she was young.
Thank you for any help you can give me in pointing me in the right direction.
