Tattoo Help

Hey ya'll,

If anyone could help it'd be great. I only know his tattoo. It's A18767. Bloodline, previous owners, races, reg name of him esp, etc. anything would be great. Going to order them when I can but for now, this is all I can try to do. Thanks!

I'm afraid that only the Jockey Club has the ability to search by tattoo number. They charge about $30 to do so.

Once you do have his name, people here will be able to help you find his record, etc.

An A for the first character means the year of birth. If you want more information, and you probably do, I would suggest contacting The Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau in Elkton, MD. I had a horse whose tattoo was mostly legible. I sent a picture of it and of him. Turned out my guy had a K for the letter, meaning he was born in '81 and had quite a history behind him. The folks were very helpful and worked hard to match my horse. Best of luck.

Well at least we know your horse is 11 years old to start with.
