Pedigree Query

I am looking for the starters in the 1970 Kentucky Oaks.

According to the Churchill Downs website, there were 11 entries.

Lady Vi-E was first, Glenary was second, Artists Proof was third, Dixie Wind was fourth and Missile Belle was 8th, but I can't find any information on the other runners.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have that info but the Keeneland Library probably does.

Last of the Line 7th
Buckland Bird 9th
Day of Reckoning 10th
Captain's Paradise 11th

My 1970 DRF chart book index yielded this information, once I got a list of the starters online from a newspaper archive site. (The actual May chart book is buried in my storage mountain ... somewhere ... )

I was very surprised to discover that the information about the Oaks starters is nowhere online. I know a group did the Triple Crown Races, and I know the Churchill Downs web site has 'charts' for all of the Kentucky Derby races, but I was very surprised they didn't have something similar for the Oaks.

Ah, well... Off to add those horses to my database!
