Zimbabwe Triple Crown

So the Zimbabwe Triple Crown consists of:
Zimbabwe Guineas
Zimbabwe Derby
Bloodstock South Africa
The Bloodstock South Africa is giving me nothing but trouble.
I've managed to track down winners back to 2009, but before that, I'm hitting a wall. Through the (usually bewildering) aro.co.za site's lists of Zimbabwean results, which does go back a good piece (oh, the joy of hunting down dates!), the race does not seem to exist before 2009, or it's under a different name entirely. Does anyone have any idea what the name of the race was before 2009? Or did it or any equivalent even exist?
Oh, and searching through Kenya's Triple Crown histories is a friggin' hoot. You can get to at least 1999 on some of those races, but nothing further back, and the pedigrees of the winners are pretty much non-existent outside Kenya (with only a few notable exceptions).
