Purge babies???

Postby walaa » Thu Jan 21, 2010 3:50 pm

Anyone on here own or bred a Purge baby?? Just curious, as I purchased one last week at keeneland. She is a BEAST  I cant figure out if she is totally insane, really smart, really dumb :) or just plain BEASTLY!!1 I guess my luck finally ran out on sweet as pie and smart t-breds, I think I finally have one that fits the stereotype of why people call t-breds "Crazy" :D Just wondering if anyone has purge babies, is this typical, or maybe I just got a random crazy baby!!

Thanks! She actually looks better in person than pics, and shes very big, considering she is an April 30th baby! I think she is just going to be one of those that has to have a window to see the horse next to her (my stalls are solid, although she was working on that :) ) or stay outside until the Purges run well, then get her to a consignor ASAP!

She does, doesnt she :) She actually is turning out to be quite friendly, just a still a little nervous in the barn, but getting better :) Its the gray one I bought that is turning into a terror! She is very nasty to my baby I bought in Nov, and even to her inseperable bay companion. Im about to go turn her out with my pony  She is going to learn some boundries "right quick" as they say here in TN :D

Welcome to the "I can't be in the barn by myself club" Even though my barn has open bars between the stalls if I bring someone in by themselves they tear the barn down until someone (or EVERYONE) comes in. Sounds like your new baby wants company and wants to see them as well  It's fun I can tell you that! Learn to juggle  Like LB says she's a pretty beast or pretty crazy (nice names if they aren't taken ;) )

they are both getting a little better :) Still cant get the bay to stay in for more than a few minutes at a time, but hey, small steps, dont know how she made it through the sale  I also think consignors, owners breeders, with these 2 they were the same, confuse "handled daily" with moving from one area to another :D
