Well It's Official

My big bruiser 2009 filly, by Rocking Trick out of Ground Queen, is officially named Queen of Earth. She was born on April 22, 2009 (Earth Day). I looked at the name last year and waited, fingers crossed, and lo and behold it was still available. She is nearly the size of the two year old fillies she runs with. She is the one and only foal I have from 2009 (as a result of the calamities of 2008). Her barn name is Terra. She is one year old today and pushing 15h.

Nice hip! Most of mine are still woolly too. They look like they have beards growing from their stomachs.

That's really funny  I'm glad you got the name that you wanted and it's a really good one to boot. I'll be looking out for Queen of Earth in the future.
