2012 Scat Daddy colt

Postby Discovery » Wed Jul 18, 2012 3:36 pm

Here is my homebred. I only have 2 mares, 1 at the time he was bred. I couldn't be happier with him. :)

Thanks so much LB! I'm trying to decide whether to sell him as a weanling or a yearling. The main thing I do is pinhooking weanlings to yearlings, so it seems a bit counter intuitive to sell him in november. On the other hand you never know what could happen in a year, it's a tough decision.

Scat Daddy is hot, hot, HOT right now. Plus your guy is a colt which always helps, especially with weanlings. Why don't you go ahead and enter him and see how you feel in October? Or go a step further: take him to the sale and set a fairly aggressive reserve. Could be, too, that when you look at xrays that makes the decision for you.

Who are your two mares in foal to?

Thanks pfrsue.

As much as I hate to sell him, he will be in the fasig November sale.

His dam is Venus Rosewater. She is by Grand Slam and is 3/4 to Alke.
