At Belmont Park yesterday, Vino Rosso and Noble Indy had their final works for the Belmont Stakes. Pletcher is very pleased with the both of them and the 5 week window between races has always been Pletcher's cup of tea:>) Here's the story. TJ

Re: The Belmont Stakes Probables/Possibles
Gronkowski confirmed for the Belmont after solid 5/8ths drill. Also add Seahenge....just waiting on Bandua's decision. TJ
Re: The Belmont Stakes Probables/Possibles
Wow, this year's Belmont is shaping up as a rather large field, considering there is a horse running for a Triple Crown. Wonder what has been the largest field size a potential TC winner has faced to-date? This year may set the record ...
I still like the favorite (think they are all "running for second money", as the saying goes.)

Sunday 6/3:
Free Drop Billy...worked a strong 1/2 in 46.4 galloped out 3/4's in 1:12 and change.
Justify...had a strong but restrained gallop in preparation for his final Belmont Stakes breeze tomorrow.
Ten Fold...had a walk day after yesterday's breeze.
Bravado and Restoring Hope were not shown. Would assume both galloped? Also might expect a breeze from Restoring Hope tomorrow?

Hi Aug,
I'm on the road till Monday night, so I'm posting on my phone and dont have the patience or small enough fingers to go searching.... but I think this is the largest field assembled to take on TC contender? TJ

I am not absolutely positive, but in the 2016 Belmont won by Creator, there were 13 runners, I believe. No TC in play, however.

Re: The Belmont Stakes Probables/Possibles
Tuesday 6/5:
Justify and Restoring Hope walked today and will fly to Long Island's MacArthur Airport tomorrow morning leaving a 40 mile van ride to Belmont Park.
Ten Fold galloped and will also fly to MacArthur Wednesday morning.
Free Drop Billy galloped today, he will gallop very early tomorrow (Wednesday) and will also fly to MacArthur on Wednesday.
Bravazo left early Monday morning by van for Belmont Park with D. Wayne riding shotgun. Should put him in Elmont, NY early Tuesday morning and will hit the track at Belmont Park early Wednesday?
Just a guess, but it looks like the four of them, Justify, Restoring Hope, Ten Fold and Free Drop Billy will be passenger mates on board Tex Sutton's "Air Horse One"...the best equine airline in the World!
Later this morning entries will be taken for the Belmont Stakes and the post position draw begins at 5:30 PM today from CitiField, NY home of the NY Mets. TJ

Here is a video of today's gallop at Belmont Park by Justify. Looks great in my opinion.
