Thanks Georgerz.

This precocious promising gray son of Giants Causeway fashions a solid distance pedigree!

Not noticeable in his immediate 5 generation pedigree but this gray colt is carrying 4 unconspicuous doses of Native Dancer!

Canadian Derby winner! What an interesting recollection of names in his pedigree! Alas he is a gelding. Any future full brother out there?

Thank you so much Georgerz

Seems like this horse is turning himself into another kind of runner.
Not bad the time for the distance.

Who would you credit the gray color on this horse: Mahmoud or Native Dancer? Thanks.

The Factor gets the Pat O'brien at Del Mar, for a GRI victory.

All of the progeny of WEKIVA SPRINGS were grays, which means that he is a Homozygous Gray, in other words, he inherited his coat color from both immediate parents. That’s the reason why all his gets were grays. Putting aside that evident fact, Runaway Groom demonstrated that he was a very powerful gray color transmitter, albeit he looks sort of Native Dancerish. In synthesis both seems equally responsible!

See Wekiva Springs pedigree:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/wekiva+springs
and his progeny:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/progeny/wekiva+springs

In the past, I have asked myself that question but with the case of Jig Time, son of two immediate gray parents.

Thanks for the valuable watch.

A gray horse by El Prado, Grassy, won on opening day at Belmont Park yesterday: The Bowling Green Handicap, GR II at 11 furlongs. I believe it is a six year old, therefore a sophomore of 2008.

Winter Memories (El Prado) just won the Garden City GRI at Belmont Park, today. That has to have been one the most exciting races in the last few years. From hopelessly beaten to winning going away in about 100 yards.

Hansen, by Tapit, just won the Kentucky Cup Juvenile Stakes at Turfway Park, by many open lenghts. I hope he makes it safe and sound to the BC Juvenile, and wins it.

Thank you very much Georgerz!

Interesting names in the lower half of both, his broodmare sire as well as that sire's mate. Quite a whitened out color for a juvenile. Makes me remember Vigors.
