She is the founder but still has that Sunday Silence/Halo connection. Interesting.

In other white horses there is a connection with black coat color. Many have the potential to carry (a) or brown instead of the more common A- Bay. No, not something mystic, but like white markings being more likely to express on chestnut, there may be something that allows maximum expression of Dominant White. There's also the possibility that Sunday Silence was the original source of the KIT mutation.

The white TBs, Clarence Stewart and Mont Blanc, both had-very near black full brothers.

I think the connection is Halo if there is one as one of the white founders is by Lively One. But if there is a connection it isn't that he carried it or he would have produced some himself (like 50/50!) as would his sons. But there could be something he carried that made it easier for the gene to mutate. Not that it really needs a reason to mutate, it does fine on its own!
