Does anyone have any initimate knowledge of Staying On (IRE)? Is he a sound runner? Been offered 50% share and the horse will be reloacted to rogger Attfield at Woddbine..

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

Twice runner-up at Group 1 level, when narrowly beaten in the Prix du Jockey-Club last year and when chasing home Casual Conquest in the Tattersalls Gold Cup in May, Famous Name is Dermot Weld's only entry for the 1m1f contest.

Recharge, fifth in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby on his most recent start, is one of three entries from Kevin Prendergast, while Aidan O'Brien, successful with Plan a year ago, has five entries: Drumbeat, Hail Caesar, Chief Lone Eagle, Rockhampton and Red Rock Canyon, who is declared to run at Roscommon on Tuesday.

The Walter Swinburn-trained Staying On, sixth in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes on his most recent start, having won the Listed Doncaster Mile and finished a short-head second to Doctor Fremantle in the Huxley Stakes on his first two starts this season, is the sole British-trained entry.

The ground at the Curragh was described as "yielding " on Monday.

Man thanks Francesca - I joined Racing Post's members area, so I have most of the info..... they've run him too long (he seems more suitable from 8-9F) and last time, the equipement change backfired.... he's now entered in a Group 3 in Ireland on the synthetic... one of the BC 'Win and You're In" races for the BC Marathon.....

Actually, considering another of Walter Swinburn's horses for private buy.... let's see what happens, or I'm off to Tatersall for the October Yearling Sales!

Thanks again!
