I just saw this on an Australian racing site. Tragic situation for the trainer, owners and fans of this great race mare. My heart goes out to them.

It can happen to any horse at any time ,usually the good ones. Apparently it was a reaction to Pentosan which I find hard to believe but it's very sad.....the trainer is understandably inconsolable.
