I had a look at the ped of "Stradivarius".
Well, his damline has a familiar ring for me. It's the same one as "Protectionist" (by Monsun) and Melbourne Cup winner (3200 meter).
The common ancestor is Poughkeepsie and the sire of the granddam is named "Distant Relative".
