Pedigrees for Filigree1912 and Les Invalides1912

Postby Nessa » Fri Jul 10, 2009 11:34 pm

Can someone help me with a pedigree for the 1940 mare Haderfill(Hadagal x Fill In) Equineline has her second dam1912 Filigree(Ultimus x Unknown dam), while the database has Filigree out of the mare 1900 Flycatcher(Hastings1893 x Felicia1880).

Also Equineline has the pedigree for 1912 Les Invalides(Toddington1901 x Unknow Dam), in the database the dam is listed as Zephyr1907(Star Shoot1898 x Adria1893.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's the Daily Racing Form for 8-11-15 with Filigree's PPs (and parents Ultimus-Flycatcher) for the 4th race at Saratoga.

American Stud Book v.XI confirms the pedigrees of both mares are as shown in this database. :)

I e-mailed Equineline about Yellow Sally (1914) who had an 'unknown' dam, and gave them the information. Their response was:

Equineline wrote:Unfortunately when you get to information that is listed that far back in history, we do have a few gaps in our information. We would have filled that information in had we needed to include her in a North American Sales Catalogue page or an equineline report, but that family has not come up.

So, as far as the older pedigrees go I'd trust the database, not Equineline.
