Probity (GB) 1943 is in the database as being sired by Fair Trial. A few other sources has her sire as Precipitation. Which one is correct?

The initial entry for Probity in the (print) GSB gives her sire as "Precipitation or Fair Trial". Usually, that means the dam was covered by both, in that order. Prior to the days of DNA typing the last covering sire was given credit for the foal. I'm not sure why some sources are showing Precipitation as the sire, but they definitely are.
