Do you have the year of birth for any of these mares?

I looked at all the usual pedigree places, but couldn't find anything.

Kiwi, were you the one who made that request of the reseach group several months back? The Wheatcroft mares? It was I who assembled that list, based on the American Stud Book v.XI's list of mares exported to Australia in 1911. :)

Obviously I had no luck on their pedigrees - but if you can corner sombody who has a copy of ASB v.X (1906-1909) at their disposal, most, if not all, of those mares should be in it.

Sorry I couldn't be more help...but that should give an idea of where to start looking! Good luck, and let me know if you find anything. That list was giving me fits.

But thanks for filling in the missing pedigree on the other one.

You're very welcome. :)

Actually, doing that project was rather enjoyable...until I hit a wall with those few mares, then it stopped being fun. Ah well. Please post if you ever come across any of them!
