Suggestions on this filly

Postby vallygirl927 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 12:53 pm

I'm working on getting this filly named Honor Marks, by Slewvescent out of an Honor Grades mare. This is still in the works.....I will be visiting her after Christmas and making a decision then. Can I get some opinions as to her breeding, her female famly, and slewvescent as a sire and possibly broodmare sire, as I may be breeding her later on down the road. Also what does everything think about Secretariat inbreeding on the dam's side?

Thanks!

possibly racing as she'll be two next year...and if not, than broodmare potential. I want to breed her 3x3 with Seattle Slew, maybe throw some secretariat in there. I believe she has a 50% chance of having the xfactor.

Looking at any of the A.P. Indy sons will get you your 3x3 to Seattle Slew as well as a 3x4 to Weekend Surprise as well as bringing in Secretariat.

Yeah, I was also thinking storm cat or a seeking the gold son. We recently got stromin fever here in California who has seattle slew in his pedigree. But I have to wait two years, cause she's only 2 years old right now.

Don't mind about the existing inbreeding. The result is what you can see.
Mind about the inbreeding you plan to introduce, insteed.
