Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but perhaps some of you can answer this long pondered question I have.
With Zenyatta being the most extraordinary race horse we've seen since the 70's (IMHO) why would they not breed Vertigineaux back to Street Cry to get a couple of full brothers/sisters to Zenyatta? She's been bred to other studs but as far as I know, not Street Cry.
I like that Barbaro's parents have been re-bred and there are brothers and his owners are hoping for a sister to keep the family side going.
Does anyone know if this is going to happen, if not, why?
Thanks...
Why not breed Queen Z's parents again?

We will NEVER see another Ruffian......
Zenyatta's dam belongs to Coolmore. And since Coolmore and Darley pretty much declared war on one another 2-3 years ago, there's no way she'll be going back to Street Cry.
Interestingly, when Coolmore acquired Vertigineux they also did not breed her back to their stallion Thunder Gulch, sire of V's G1 winning, millionaire daughter, Balance.

Wow, thank you so much for that bit of information.
You know, its really sad, esp. in this situation. Its seems some of these farms are getting too big for their own good.
Thank goodness Zenyatta's American owners are common sensed, horse racing loving people that do not look at them as pieces of how rich they are, instead they know how much the American racing people wanted to see Zenyatta back.
What a shame. Pretty soon the "little guys" aren't going to have a damned chance.
