starting to look for a stallion for next spring any ideas?

Looking for a Louisiana stallion for my mare Divine Destiny. There are several at Clear Creek who interest me. She is in foal to Line of David now for her first foal. Thanks! Guess that I should have added she is a Friends Lake mare out of Chic Sheba.

IMO your mare needs an infusion of speed.

Although I have not seen him, and therefore cant recommend him, I nevertheless suggest you look at CUSTOM FOR CARLOS. By More than Ready, he was an outstanding sprinter, much better than his G3 performance indicates. He ran on all surfaces and beat some terriffic racehorses. He was just a few races away from being a solid Kentucky stallion.

He would also bring a second cross of SEATTLE SLEW to your mare.

Ive bred a number of mares to READY'S IMAGE, another son of More than Ready, and am extremely happy with the results. If Custom for Carlos' conformation approaches that of Readys Image (which is far better than his sire) you'd have to take a serious look at him.

thanks for the answers! Custom for Carlos has been on the top of my list since the open house at Clear Creek in December. (And to dublino, I believe she has a very good nick with Half ours and yes I am happy with Clear Creek, they shipped my mare from Kentucky to Louisiana for me) :D I just wanted to see what others who know more then me thought.

Custom for Carlos is the subject of another thread I started a while back--because I noticed him during random race replays. What a mover. A beautifully built. Durable, too. I'm excited for his potential.
