Dance With Ravens o/o a Prized mare Texas.

Looking for a few thoughts on this coming breeding season. Emporia is on her way to Texas so I would be (for the first year) looking at a Texas stallion. I already have one in mind and have done some homework, but brain storming (different views) is always fun :)

Thank you Griff. He definitely would be a looker if I was in Arkansas, however, I am planning on stay in Texas this year .... may wonder out of state next :) Appreicate it!

I recommend you take a good in-depth look at the Arkansas breeders program.. Might be worth reconsideration plus The Daddy is an A++ nick with your mare.

And it's really not very far from TX to AR

Emporia made it from PA and arrived in TX this a.m. She is very pretty and a well balanced mare. Griff, I will look into AR probably next year. I didn't mention that I got her from a rescue and she was stabled at Bowie Training Center in MA. She needs some weight and time to be happy and be a horse. I don't want to ship her off again in a couple of months. So for the first breeding, I would like to keep her close to home. I was thinking to breed back/tie into Dance Smartly but in Texas that might be tough! We have a few months to decided but currently a Danzig/Northern Dancer line is where I was looking.

congrats on getting Emporia.

I also love her with The Daddy and if you decide to go that way in the future look me up when its time to sell the foal.

Heres to many years of success with her and you

well, having lived in Tx, depending on where you are you may well be closer to La, AR, OK or NM than half the stallion farms in Tx....

maybe Lils Lad, to pick up Danzig?
