Would love to get some thoughts on who to breed her to.
Her name is Hen Reception
Probably going to stay in the MidAtlantic region (PA, MD, NY)
Stud fee range 10K or less
She is a big correct mare
I would consider a higher stud fee and KY if it reasoning was overwhelming.
If you do respond please share the reasons why you think she would match well with your choice.
thanks
Looking for mating advice for this mare

Madelyn very interesting hypo mating on Eddington 6-12-8-2-2 (30) DI = 2.75 CD = 0.60. How did you come up with him.
Her dam's best horse was by Rubiano with a pretty close up Fappiano/Northern Dancer influence in the sire. With Eddington, the ND is thru Danzig rather than Nijinsky, but I just REALLY like the cross, and using Unbridled you get your Fappiano.. and he is $5K so he fits your budget. I often hear the phrase "You can NEVER have too much Northern Dancer" -- while I truly like E Dubai a lot as a stallion, I don't believe, pedigree-wise, he is the one to bring out the best in THIS mare.

Madelyn,
Thanks for the explanation very helpful.
I just happened to be on "The American Thoroughbred Review" website and they list Eddington as a worst buy. Not that I put too much stock into any one source but what are your thoughts about this website. For what it's worth they also named Artie Schiller as a worst and I have one on the way.

I'm not sure that either horse has had their matings "planned" - ie mare owners who want to pay the fee are told their mare is a "great cross" - Artie is yet another El Prado that probably needs some pretty specific lines in his mares. Rather than Eddington, if your mare is a "good size" (big girl) you might take at look at Mustanfar which is a very similar cross. I thought you might laugh at me there, since his fee is only $2K. Also, let me know if you are going to use him because I was planning to send one or two others and could actually probably get you a discount.

Good looking horse, good runner, by Unbridled out of Serena's Song; one of the greatest mares ever.
Rahy in the dam sire's position works just as well as a Halo line. Rahy loves Buckpasser/Tom Fool and he loves storm Cat.

Do some research on Hybrid Vigor. With as much inbreeding as she has, you could possibly get a really good one if you were to find a stallion that was an outcross to her. You can't go wrong with a Mr. Prospector line stallion for this mare. I'm with everyone else, E Dubai is a great match on paper. The Lord of War on his bottom side should love the Buckpasser.
