His book still has a few openings for top tier mares if people are interested. Me and my partner went in on my namesake to support Perfect Soul, Chuck campaigned him, but I wanted to check out Aldebaran as well since I purchased a filly out of his family. He's a touch shy of 16h and while I dont feel qualified to talk about conformation I was told 3 of his first 4 foals had real good size to them. So keep size in mind when breeding to him.

A topic I am very familiar with (as is FOS) but I will only say that he is actually a touch over 16.0 hands - I saw them put the stick on him.

I think some expected the Champion Sprinter to look like a pure sprinter rather than the miler that he was (Met Mile). Don't forget he ran a good 3rd to Perfect Drift and Mineshaft in the 1 1/8 mile G1 Stephen Foster - so he was able to carry his speed.
