Has anyone else noticed Rockport Harbor climbing the leading sire list? An excellent year. Unfortunate loss.

I think he is doing well with the limited book of mares he receives and now that Fiftyshadesofgold is back in training he may look even better in the future. I have a mare in foal to him and will breed back to him again next year.

Hey, did you see Rookie Sensation, a big dark grey colt by Unbridled's Song won the Twilight Derby, 9 furlongs on the turf???

I like this colt. The Unbridled's Song's are terrific on grass!

Quite powerful broodmare side on each removed. I like this pedigree.

Thank you for posting! I've been looking for a perfect example of a family 4m inbreeding. Both female lines descend from family 4m. My filly, Siduri (Lucky Pulpit/Stitch N Run) is bred very similarly to My Golden Song. Lucky pulpit is from the same female line as Unbridled's Song (Lucky Spell) and my mare's female family traces back to the Blue Hen mare, Throttle Wide, the 6th dam of My Golden a Song. Very cool!

Old Fashioned is another example if a successful inbreeding to family 4-m. I think there may be something to this.

Yes. Mine, after I get him to the races in January.

Rockport Harbor is now America's leading sire of 2 year olds. Tremendous win by Rise Up today.
