The wonderful Beau Genius was euthanized 3 days ago. A member of his final crop, Big Macher just won the Bing Crosby over the weekend. Beau Genius was a son of the very important Bold Ruckus.
I worked with a few of his offspring and they were always nice horses to be around, which I think he passed along, and which they mention in the article. He also was a sire of some very tough and sound horses (Frazee's Folly comes to mind).
