Turtle Island was a good one. I hope that his sire line is surviving somewhere.

Fairy King sired stakes winner Bartok (IRE) who took up stud duties in the USA. Bartok from limited opportunity sired 6 stakes winners from around 200 foals, he stood at stud in California where he fashioned a respectable career though not spectacular. Bartok had a good record as a sire of useful fillies.

Thanks HJ. Fairy King was truly a great stallion and apparently a sire of sires.

Thanks Mehile. I like the pedigree of King's Blood. Of course, KB's pedigree has Fairy King on the top, and Fairy King's pedigree is about as good as it gets. His BM sire is the son of Mill Reef, and I like that too. Other good stuff as well with producers in his female line.

That farm (Winchester Place Thoroughbreds) looks beautiful. I'll bet that King's Blood likes it there.

Hello,
recently I received the Sales Catalogues from New Zealand (Karaka Sales, January/February 2015, Festival Sales).

Here I found a yet unnamed Colt, who is bred 3 x 3 Fairy King, see Lot 1081 (Cecconi - Miss Only You by Falbrav)

Regards, Bettina
