Hi Bettina, would you happen to know how Taipan has fared as a sire in Germany? (I think he stood/is standing in Germany at least). I'm interested because of his damsire Chief Singer's dam Principia being an interesting match-up with the good broodmare La Trinite.

I'm sorry, but taipan didn'tstand or stood in Germany.
With the help of a 'stallion register' 2003 I receive from a British Thoroughbred magazine I can tell you, where is Taipan now. He stands at the Knockhouse Stud, Kilmacow, C. Kilkenny, Ireland.
